Why Hills?

Warm up:

Everyone warms up a little differently which is why we don’t meet to warm up. It also saves you time - If you live within 2-4 miles of the workout location we suggest running there. If you’re 4-6 miles away, hop on a city bike, maybe jump off 2-3 miles early and run the rest. However you decide to get there, just make sure you're warmed up and ready to go at 6:59am.

Why Hills:

Hills are a quick and relatively safe way to increase strength and fitness in your running. They’re also super fun! There’s nothing quite like running as hard as you can up a hill, over and over again, and it’s even better with a group of people.

Latch on to someone who’s running at a similar pace. If they’re not friends at the start, they will be by the time you’re done. And if you make a habit of it, they’ll become good friends, and you’ll both be better for it.

Frequency:

Don’t feel like you need to come every week! Bi-weekly works great too. The workouts alternate between uptown and downtown locations, hopefully making it easier for people to be consistent in joining at least twice a month.
